Mendon Ponds Park - Update
We will hike the rolling East Esker Trail on this 2 hour, 4.5 mile hike that is full of rolling hills and nice views. Meet in the gravel parking lot at the intersection of Pond Road and Douglas Road at 9:45 for a 10:00 AM start.

Finger Lakes Branch Trail-Conservation Trail series #11 - Update
This hike is suited for those looking for a little longer hike, than the usual local Sunday day hike. We will meet at the Home Depot parking lot in Gates at 8:00 am. We will leave at 8:15 am to car pool to the West Valley, NY area, where we will hike 10.5 miles (1000 ft of elevation gain) on the Conservation Trail, a branch of the FLT (Map Ct4 access 1 RT240 to access 5 Gooseneck Rd).

Labor Day Hike: - Seneca Park to Charlotte Beach - Update
Labor Day Hike: - Seneca Park to Charlotte Beach. We will walk through Seneca Park and along the old railroad grade to the O'Rorke Bridge, and then cross the Genesee River and walk out to Charlotte Beach.. After eating at the beach we will return to our cars along the original trail.
Bring water and something to eat for lunch. We will meet in the Seneca Zoo parking lot next to the children's playground.
This is a joint hike with Rochester Hiking Meetup Group
Co-leaders Jim Kester and Derek Price.
9 mile, mostly flat hike.

Bay Park East - Update
Larry Reister will lead this Sunday hike through the ups and downs of Bay Park East. Expect a strenuous hike. Bring a lunch. We will meet at the North western edge of the Bay View YMCA parking lot off of Bay Rd. Meet at 10:15 am and start hiking at 10:30am.

Crescent Trail - Eastern Section - Update
We will be hiking on the Crescent Trail (orange trail) off of Lyndon Road. This section of the trail should only have mild hills. We will meet at 10:15 A.M. and start hiking at 10:30am. Meet at the Trail Head parking lot on Lyndon Road. To get to Lyndon Road, take 490e to exit 26 to Ny31E(Palmyra Rd) left onto Ayrault Rd. Go east for 3.8 mile and turn left(north) on to Lyndon Rd. Go .4 mile to the Parking lot on the east side of the road. Bring a lunch, we will be eating on the trail.

Hi Tor Trip - Update
Trails Committee Hi Tor Trip: Join us for a hike in the lovely Hi Tor Wildlife Management area in Naples, NY on Sunday, October 17th. We will meet at the Perinton Park and Ride at 8am, and then carpool down to Naples. The hike will take approximately two hours, and the terrain ranges from wide, flat, grassy paths to some hillier, wooded sections. Bring a snack and your cameras--midway through the hike, we\'ll stop to take a break and there is a really nice vista of Canandaigua Lake for you avid photographers. The hike is open to all levels--but, would be a nice introductory hike to newbies. We should return to the Park and Ride around 12 or 1pm. For those who are interested, lunch will follow at the Pittsford Pub.

Mendon Ponds - Update
We will hike Mendon Ponds park near Devils Bath Tub and the eastern ester trail . The hike should be a mildly hilly 7 mile hike. Park at the gravel parking lot on the corner of Douglas and Pond Road. We hope to see very large flocks of migrating Canadian Geese in the ponds at this time of year and some late fall foliage. Bring a lunch. We will meet at 10:15 am and start hiking at 10:30am. Plan to finish at ~1:45.
