- How to get there:
- From Rochester take route 104 east to route 104 A. Turn left on route 104 A. Continue on route 104 A to Old State Road. Bear left at the Y junction onto Old State Road. Continue on Old State Road to Sterling Center Road (May also be called Center Road). Turn left following Sterling Center Road to McIntyre Road. Turn right on McIntyre Road. Go approximately 0.5 mile on McIntyre Road and turn left on Fraden Road. Follow Fraden Road to East branch of Sterling Creek.
- Description:
- The trip offers two starting locations, the Fraden Road bridge or for a somewhat shorter trip the McIntyre Road bridge. Put in is on the southwest side of the Fraden Road bridge and on the northwest or southwest sides of the McIntyre Road bridge. The approach from Fraden Road is somewhat steep, with an easy put in at the creek. The put in at McIntyre Road is easiest on the northwest side of the bridge with a gentle grade to the creek.
